Student projects

The Student Entrepreneurship Projects are EXCLUSIVE to the members the Entrepreneurs Support Network!

Students enrolled in entrepreneurship courses at Bishop’s University complete researches, analyses as well as feasibility and market studies for the entrepreneurs of the Network.

Under the supervision of a professor, the students pair up to work in teams on selected projects. These projects and entrepreneurs give students the chance to use their knowledge and get hands-on experience in a small business environment. This is the chance for entrepreneurs to get important information on a new product or service, on competition, on markets as well as on several other factors essential to the development of their business.

The entrepreneur who wants to take advantage of this service must be able to spend some time with the students to help them understand the business and complete their work. The students and entrepreneurs are teamed up for the whole semester. At the end of the semester, the students present a printed copy of the report with recommendations to the entrepreneur.

Please note that this service does not replace the work done by professionals. It is understood that the entrepreneurs do not have the necessary resources to pay for such professional services. On the other hand, the work completed by the students will contribute to the success of the young business which could turn into eventual contracts for professional consultants.
